Peugeot 307 :

Europe's top car

The 307 was awarded the European car of the year award most likely due to its handling on the road.

It comes as an update for the long service of the 306 (with over 2.6 million models sold),The latest edition is an upright and larger than its predecessor while at the same time is a very stylish model.
The equipment consists of 6 airbags with side curtain airbags running along the cabin which protect front and back seats occupants
ABS and brake assist come as standard.An added feaurre here is that when the braking system is applied the hazard lights flash, warning traffic behind you.

As is becomng yhe standard, the windscreen wipers are automatic and auto headlights turn on at dusk .

The 2 litre engine is the same one fitted to the 406 giving adequate power to the car.
On road handing, its hard for the car to lose its control and under or over steering can be compensated for fairly easily.

Other equipment consists of climate control electric windows and heated rear view mirrors .There is a 5 cd stacker and a trip computer.

Unfortunately the suspension can be a little noisy and you can hear the door hinges working and you need to get used to the minor controls because its easy to flash when you are indicating.
