The latest attempt at the mid sized car fleet, has been introduced by Peugeot.
The 407 will be going head to head with Ford's Mondeo and the Honda Accord.
Also in this market are top contenders such as The Vecrtra, The Mazda 6 and the Citoroen C5
The 406 has now been replacd with this new version and Peugeot are keen to gt it to the showrooms asap.
By now the coupe version will also be available.

The engine choices consists of 4 petrol and 2 diesel options .

The petrol engines run from 1.8, 2.0, 2.2 litre and the more powerful top-end 3.0 litre

A rough guide to prices with the 407 probably at £15,000 for the 1.8 litre saloon and reaching up tpo £24,000 for the 3 litre estate.

Peugeot is continuing its tradition of elegant looks and good driving features with the SW lookng particularly stylish.

The new double-wishbone feature on the suspension should give the driver excellent road holding.
The car offers 9 airbags, pre- tension seat belts and anti- whiplash head restrainers The features include satellite navigation parking sensors and telephone equipment.
The biggest take up of the car will probably be those using of company cars.

Safety feaures of the car.
The mdel has a very well reinforced passenger cage and rated well for frontal impact.
As usual there is knee protection offerd by the air bags and side protection is offered by side airbags and curtain airbags.
