There were times when Peugeots seemed everywhere but not often did you see them on the hard shoulder.This new model has grace comfort and style and is full of innovative gadgets.

The engine
This is a V6 and delivers 152kW at 6,000 rpm at which point the automatic gearbox takes over.
Peuget claim that the top speed is 232km/h but more pratically it is 215.
However the car runs very quietly and has excellent braking performance.
As in the 407, if you brake hard, the hazard light comes on and warns traffic behind you to beware.

The internal space
The seats adjust to suit any length and body height.
The double layer side window keeps out noises.

Leather is everywhere and 12 speaker sound system provide the entertainment.
The trip computer shows you when the lights and wipers turn themselves on, s weel as a whole range of other data.
The sound sytem adjusts itself to the car's road speed,
and the electric stability control takes care of you should you handle a bend badly.
Even your ignition key fob remembers your seeting and steerng preferences and sets them for you as you open the door.

The Body
The new model follows no previous shapes.
It is 5 metres long and carries it well

16" mukltispoke alloys are fitted and add nice style.
The boot is acessed by a swich on the key fob and opening it offers you a very large boot space indeed.
